Erika Kirk Cancels TPUSA Event Appearance After Receiving SERIOUS THREATS

On Monday, a spokesperson for TPUSA announced that Erik Kirk would not attend an event scheduled at the University of Georgia.

Erik Kirk canceled her appearance due to receiving serious threats.

Kirk was set to appear at the event alongside Vice President JD Vance.

Despite Erika canceling her appearance, Vice President JD Vance still attended the event after receiving a green light from the Secret Service.

The Independent reported more on Krik’s decision not to attend the event due to threats:

Erika Kirk skipped a Turning Point USA event on Tuesday in Georgia where she was set to appear alongside Vice President JD Vance after receiving “very serious threats,” according to event organizers.

“It’s a terrible reflection on the state of reality and the state of the country,” Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said onstage at the Akins Ford Arena in Athens, sitting beside Vance.

Kirk’s late husband, the influential conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was fatally shot in September during an appearance at a campus event in Utah.

“I was so looking forward to tonight’s event at the [University of Georgia] with our Vice President [JD Vance], but after all our family has been through, I take my security team’s recommendations extremely seriously,” Kirk wrote on X.

Vance said the threats ahead of Tuesday’s event left Kirk, Turning Point’s CEO, “worried.” He also lashed out at those he said had been unfairly criticizing her in the wake of her husband’s death. Erika Kirk has become the subject of conspiracy theories in some corners of the right.

The Washington Examiner reported Vance called out those who claim Erika Kirk isn’t grieving:

“The people telling you that Erika wasn’t grieving her husband are full of s***, and we need to be honest,” Vance said. “But if your instinct is to go after a young mother because she’s grieving in a way that you find wrong, well, why don’t you stay in your lane and mind your own business?”

The Charlie Kirk assassination case against accused gunman Tyler Robinson is set to have its next hearing on May 18, where prosecutors intend to call Robinson’s parents and his roommate and romantic partner, Lance Twiggs, to testify at the preliminary hearing.
