Since the first case of COVID-19 was announced in America, one doctor has not only positioned himself at the forefront of the pandemic, but he also advised the government every step of the way. The doctor is none other than the famed Dr. Anthony Fauci. Throughout his time fighting the coronavirus, Dr. Fauci has been adamant that Americans should follow the guidelines set by the government. This included lockdowns, face masks, and the highly controversial COVID-19 drug. But while Dr. Fauci might have been one of the biggest supporters of the COVID-19 agenda, it appears he is now changing his stance.
Speaking on ABC, viewers were shocked when the doctor admitted that people should assess their own risk when pertaining to COVID-19. “This is not going to be eradicated, and it’s not going to be eliminated. And what’s going to happen is that we’re going to see that each individual is going to have to make their calculation of the amount of risk that they want to take.”
As for the White House, which is battling a surge of COVID-19, the doctor wasn’t at all worried about President Joe Biden getting infected due to the protocols put in place. Recently, not only did two members of Biden’s cabinet test positive for COVID-19, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also tested positive. It should be noted that Biden hugged Pelosi just a few days ago.

We don’t want to pooh-pooh getting infected. I think people sometimes say, ‘Well, it’s okay to get infected.’ No, it’s not, because there are things like long COVID and there are sometimes people even though they don’t require hospitalization, Jon, they get significantly ill.”
