James Comey, the fired former director of the FBI, couldn't leave Attorney General William Barr's comments out there without acting as if he didn't know what Barr meant.
Comey flat-out denied that “spying did occur” against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and his team during the 2016 race for the White House.
OK, Mr. Comey.
Then Barr will refresh your memory.

“With respect to Barr's comments, I really don't know what he's talking about when he talks about spying on the campaign,” said Comey on Thursday during a speaking event.
“When I hear that kind of language used it's concerning … I don't know what he meant by that term,” Comey added.
It's funny, in my view, that they all “forget” about their indiscretions when asked about them — but they have no problem remembering many other things if it makes someone else look bad.
It's the strangest thing about Comey. I know someone who was an FBI agent and who loved the disgraced so-called leader as a boss.
He met him various times and even wanted to be like him.
But after Comey's speech, this man lost all respect for him and felt ashamed that he ever thought he was a straight shooter and an honest FBI boss.
It seems Comey is a very good faker.
